Fuel And Bingo Calculations

The Fuel Bingo Calculation form is used after creating a tasking. After you have plotted and saved your tasking in OziExplorer and verified your route, you can determine the fuel requirements for the tasking and the farthest Bingo point (including Reserve and Call-around times).

Click on the Fuel Bingo button in any tasking window of Search_HQ to open the form.  Double check that the correct Route Name is selected. If you have manually altered a route in OziExplorer, or routes for another tasking are loaded, you must open the correct waypoint and route files. To do this, click on the File Open button at the top of the main window. Select the correect waypoint file, and click open.
Enter the required information in the seven boxes Transit airspeed KTS, Search airspeed KTS, Wind speed KTS, Wind from deg TRUE, Reserve fuel HRS, Call-around fuel HRS, and finally Fuel burn rate amount per HR. The NM, HRS, GAL, USG, LIT and LBS are displayed automatically for the selected tasking.

The Manual FUEL and TIME Calculators are used to calculate Fuel for a specified Time at the fuel burn rate, and visa-versa.
